OTR/L
Hi, I’m Catherine Grabowski! I have always had a strong passion for working in pediatrics and fell in love with the profession of Occupational Therapy and all it has to offer. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from John Carroll University. I then went on to graduate with my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh in 2023.
Shortly after graduating and passing my national boards, I pursued a professional career in School-Based Occupational Therapy. In the school setting, I gained skills addressing fine motor, visual-motor integration, and sensory processing/regulation skills in students age 4-18.
My passion for Occupational Therapy began in high school when I began volunteering for Michigan Victory Games, a weekend-long event hosted at Michigan State University where individuals with physical disabilities come to compete in a variety of events. I have no taken on a bigger role within the organization and I help organize and run the games every year!
My favorite part of OT is watching the progress that is made during sessions and celebrating those victories (both big and small) with the kids! I love collaborating with the children and families during sessions to help them achieve their goals!
